Safety Practices and CELS 2.0 (May)

Programs are required to have a documented system in place to ensure and support a well-kept facility used for children services. This session will focus on Safety Practices for facilities based on CELS 2.0, a brief look at Caring for Our Children Basics to support policy and monitoring of facilities and conducting and maintain evidence of on-site facility checks.

Active Supervision in Early Childhood Educational Settings: Leading Practice Approaches (May)

This training provides a comprehensive overview of active supervision, a vital practice for ensuring the safety, well-being, and optimal learning of young children. Participants will learn the core principles of active supervision – scanning, searching, signaling, separating, and supervising – and explore how to implement these strategies effectively in various early childhood settings.
